Aqualyx and Deso

Fat dissolving injections reduce and eliminate, localised, stubborn fat deposits that do not shift with diet and exercise.  The face and body can be treated with fat dissolving injections. Brands such as Aqualyx and Deso, contain an ingredient called Deoxycholic Acid, the area of concern is marked out and and then injected with the fat dissolving solution. The product contains a local anesthetic for patient comfort. Deoxycholic acid permanently destroys fat cells, that then naturally drain away through the body's lymphatic system, over a few weeks. Often 2-4 sessions are required, 4 weeks apart, for optimum results. Fat dissolving injections offer permanent results, providing weight remains stable with a healthy diet and exercise regime.  Results can be seen 2-3 weeks post treatment as the fat cells are gradually destroyed and removed through the lymphatic system. Drinking 2 liters of water a day can aid the results of the treatment.  As can wearing a compression garment such as Spanx, for 72 hours post treatment, after the body is treated.
